• Provided HSE technical analysis on logistics issues (transport and storage) and participated in audits.
• Analyzed HSE incidents, ensured the study of their causes and developed necessary corrective and preventive action plans.

Logistics Engineering (Country Entry Plan / Project Draft):

• Carried out detailed field survey missions to assess existing logistical infrastructure and local constraints (administrative, technical, customs, meteorological, cultural, suppliers, etc.).
• Carried out logistics engineering for exploration campaigns and for all phases of project development: defining the logistics philosophy for operations and dimensioning logistics means for projects and operations (logistics base,transportation of personnel and goods/cargo by land, sea, air), carrying out optimization studies (saving millions of dollars), etc.
• Provided cost estimates and schedules that form part of investment decision making process for projects.
• Participated in monitoring and decision committees (pre-project and project reviews, quality, EIR, etc.)

Support and Monitoring of Affiliates (New Affiliates/Operating Affiliates):

• Acted as logistics technical correspondent for affiliates/subsidiaries, managed a network of 8 to 10 Logistics Managers for affiliates, conducted periodic operational reviews, etc.
• Carried out field assistance missions: guarantee the safe and efficient start-up of exploration affiliates, prepare tenders, optimize existing resources/costs
• Innovation: ensure technology watch, develop new logistics solutions, improve and promote existing solutions, etc.

Methods:

• Developed, deployed and maintain Guides and Manuals, General Specifications, and Company Rules for Logistics and Operational Support (Logistics Base Management, Land Transport/Road Safety, Oil Spill and Subsea Well Response, etc.)

Technical Referential:

• Coordinated the development of logistics related Directives, Company Internal Rules, General Specifications as well as Guides and Manuals (i.e., the E&P technical referential).
• Established the annual plan for the creation and revision of the documents (logistics related Directives, Company Internal Rules, General Specifications as well as Guides and Manuals) with the heads of departments (within the logistics division) and secured the approval of the Head of Division.
• Managed and maintained the document database for the logistics division.

• Participated in the organization of communication events (World Day For Safety, Lifting Safety Campaigns, etc.).

HSE:

• Coordinated HSE matters/events with logistics teams in the affiliates.
• Ensured weekly issuance of HSE/Synergi incidents reports.
• Ensured timely reception of quarterly logistics safety performance reports from HSE reporting department.
• Acted as a contact point (within the logistics division) for HSE matters. Acted as liaison between the HSE division and logistics division for safety issues.
