My responsibilities focused on identifying untapped opportunities in rural development and commodity value chain sustainability through climate smart practices innovation:these include
  • Identify and build relationships with different accelerators involved in the use of renewable energy for SMEs Agro processors.
  • As a value chain expert, design a model for Pilot programs in several locations for energy users (Agro processors and providers(Grid developers) to electrify Farmers communities/households.
  • Ensure timely deployment of biochar (decarbonized) shells to farmers communities.
  • Guide collaborators (UNCHR) on Biochar Trials selected using GESI principles to ensure a positive yield output and smooth replicability.
  • Bi-weekly visit to pilot sites to assess project status, speak with onsite team, and farmers on progress so far.
  • Do technical review and analyze the reports submitted by the monitoring team.
  • Independently do feasibility and survey across various communities viable for biochar distribution and usage to ensure continuous decarbonization process of arable farmland.
  • In charge of coordinating and auditing all raw material supplies and inputs (equipment) distribution to eligible farmers.
