Active case search (facility and community)
Contact tracing of positive cases.
Rendering of immunization Services
Health Education / Sensitization
Detecting and reporting of priority diseases.
Taking of specimen of suspected cases to various designated laboratory.
Investigation and verification of cases.
Supportive and supervisory services.
Follow up cases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessing the patient general condition and level of understanding.
Rendering of Immunization services
Attending to Antenatal Patient and Post natal patient.
Educating, Cancelling and providing family Planning Services.
Detecting and Reporting of Priority Diseases to surveillance unite, eg Measles, yellow fever, AFP e.t.c
Maintaining Adequate Nutrition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely admission and accurate completion of all admission procedure and documentation related to patient care.
Observation of Vital signs, Temperature, Pulse, Respiration and Blood Pressure
Assessing respiratory rate, pattern, spo2 level and central cyanosis
Establishing intravenous access to take blood sample for investigation.
Administering prescribed medication via intravenous, intramuscular, orally and subcutaneous route.
Giving of supplementary oxygen therapy and titrate as per spo2 level
Maintaining clear airway using suction technique
Providing immediate and advance care during an emergency
Passing of nasogastric tube and urethra catheter
Monitoring fluid intake and out put
Assisting with procedure such as endotracheal intubation
Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other type of medical equipment functions properly
Educating patient and family on respiratory hygiene, health maintenance and disease prevention
Providing psychological support to patient and family
