Experience spans Malaria, Tuberculosis, COVID-19, and Integrated Health Programs. Notable experience with U.S. CDC-funded, USAID/PMI-funded, and SPDC/IFC-funded projects in Nigeria through robust collaboration cutting across the Federal/State Ministries of Health (F/SMOH), National/State Primary Health Care Development Agencies (N/SPHCDA), National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), and other stakeholders. Knowledgeable about the Nigerian health sector and public health programming. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
Track implementation of activities in the state work plans and routinely provide an update on the status of implementation, gaps, and emerging issues to resolve in real-time, through the close monitoring targets for activities against achievements
Review monthly reports from the states and provide feedback to state teams and country office teams on emerging issues and ensure proper archiving of all reports
Support the planning of activities at the country office, coordinate the implementation of planned activities in the states, and facilitate state-level capacity-building activities
Work with state teams, particularly the Knowledge Management (KM) focal persons, to document and share success stories, and produce other KM products for the malaria program
Represent BA-N in the National Malaria Elimination Program Case Management Subcommittee meetings and support the implementation of national-level program activities
Provide Demand Creation Technical Support for Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Campaigns at subnational levels
