• Provide professional support to the Communication Unit, the conceptualization, and implementation of all Activity's communication strategies
• Support in the conceptualization and implementation of all Activity's communication strategies
• Contribute to the collation, writing, and editing of the weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual progress reports
• Develop communication materials, including pictures, videos, publications, infographics, short documentaries, promotional materials, etc
• Accompany Activity program staff to the field to capture all relevant media (pictures, videos, short documentaries, success stories, etc.) Assist in the graphic design, writing, and editing of engaging, agriculturally tailored, data-driven articles for the monthly newsletter
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original and consistent content that can drive traffic to the Activity's social media platforms
• Draft, schedule and post approved audio-visuals on the Activity's social media platforms

• Responsible for providing day-to-day communications activities of CARES Result Area 2 and State Cares Coordinating Office.

• Represents the organization at the gender-based violence Sub-Sector (GBV-SSM) as well as attend workshops and events relating to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and other gender issues.
• Disseminates sexual and gender-based Violence (SGBV) information on a need-to-know basis to concerned bodies (Government Agencies and other stakeholders).
• Compile and prepare monthly and periodic project progress reports, and act as the principal point of contact and coordinator for all Gender related issues.
• Respond to questions and issues relating to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) activities in the organization and serve as GBV contact person and gender desk officer.
