A WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Infrastructure Specialist working in the humanitarian sector with the desire to make the world a better place through the application of Professional knowledge and experience gathered over time to solve problems creatively and innovatively. · Designed and supervised the construction of medical waste management facility (Medical Incinerator) and waste pit to adequately dispose of medical and solid waste properly ensuring that IPC protocol of waste generation, segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal are strictly followed

·Supervised rehabilitation of health facilities ensuring all WASH components and protection components are streamlined where access to everyone including persons with special needs is sustained.

· Supervised construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of over 25 boreholes both hybrid and non-hybrid, and distribution of chlorinated water (FRC 0.2-0.5 mg/liter) to health facilities and community thereby reducing water-related disease exposure to our clients in Yobe state.

· Supervised the construction of over 34 VIP latrines and 19 bathing Facilities at health facilities, rehabilitated over 40 VIP latrines and 25 bathing facilities at health facilities with the maintenance of these facilities ensuring that sewage and urine are collected and managed appropriately without causing harm to the environment and clients.

· Supervised construction of over 1000 Household latrines in the last 3.5 years to over 6000 clients thereby reducing the risk of public health-related diseases in Yobe state.

· Conducted Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) with RUWASSA and YOSEPA at the community level with some record of Open Defecation Free (ODF) thereby reducing the risk of public health disease outbreaks.

· Supervised rehabilitation of Health Facilities ensuring that proper project documents are prepared (designs, boq, scope of work, and specification) in time and reporting project status at all levels ensuring project goals and objectives are achieved.

· Supported in facilitating an improved hygiene practice of our clients both at health facilities and community level thereby leading to the application of the knowledge of Critical times of handwashing that reduced the risk of public health diseases.

· Ensured the integration of WASH components with the Health, Nutrition, Protection, and Education team ensuring that WASH is streamlined in their programming.
