· Required to grow the Nigerian and Africa business from a fleet of 2 Floating Production Storage and Offtake (FPSO) vessels and 7 Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV’s) in 2011 to a fleet of four FPSO’s and 25 OSV’s (PSV’s, AHTS etc.) by 2015.

· Grew the OSV fleet from 7 (2011) to 15 vessels (2013)

· Worked on growing the FPSO’s from two to four in Nigeria within five years, also targeting one FPSO each in Ghana and Angola (awarded late 2013)

· Opened up the Ghanaian, Angolan, Congolese, Equatorial Guinea and Gabonese bases and operations

· Strategy lead for Africa Operations, providing the overall company board with strategic and operational insights for operating in Africa.

· Started up the BAB Oilfield Services business in conjunction with others in Kuala Lumpur. Prepared the strategy document

• A Malaysian based international Marine Service firm with a fleet of two FPSO’s and fifteen Offshore Supply Vessels in Nigeria

• Took over as Country Manager when WNL (Nigerian Subsidiary of Weatherford International, the World’s 4th largest Oilfield Services firm) was suffering from a long period of poor results (sustained losses), very poor operations management, frequent union and community shut down, thinning customer base and growing employee unrest
• Immediately embarked on a process of reorganization, cutting staff strength by 30% initially, re-organizing WNL operations, marketing and human resources
• Recruited a new senior management team, including changing designation of existing management to achieve clearly stated goals
• Ensured team agreement and alignment in pursuing aggressive turn around targets
• In 2010, Strong P&L management, proper recruiting of key personnel to manage the various operations, close client contact and management saw a turnaround of the business with a revenue growth of ~ 20% and return to profitability (~ 18% Net) compared to 2009
