Usman Hamza

Usman Hamza, PhD, an indigene of Katsina State held from Marmara Malumfashi LG is currently the Head of Department, Software Engineering and Cyber security, College of Computing and Information Sciences, Al-Qalam University Katsina, and is the Chairman Local Organising Committee for May, 2025 International Conference on AI by Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management in collaboration with Al-Qalam University Katsina and Katsina Directorate of Information Communication Technology. He was Appointed as the Director ICT from 2016 to 2019, and several other appointments and responsibilities, , before then, I worked with Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic Katsina from 2007 to 20214 as an Asst. Lecturer. He attended Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto for his BSc Computer Science, from 2001 to 2004, MSc Computing at Manchester Met University, UK, from 2011 to 2012 and PhD at Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2019 to 2023. He works with Hassan Usman Katsina polytechnic, Department of Computer Science from 2007 to 2014 and Al-Qalam University From 2014 to date. Usman Hamza Married to two wives, five (5) children.
