Accomplishments

    • Reconciled customer’s claim on excess charges of over 8billion naira on ITF/line LCs and reducing it from 8.4 billion naira to 14million naira . this saved the bank huge financial loss.
    • Facilitated the UAT (user's acceptance test)stage on T.I Finastra testing for LC issuance, LC Negotiation/payment, amendment and their various accounting entries creation and testing.
    • Also facilitated contingent account entries testing and report testing, Bills for collection payment Testing,
    • Earned several commendations for successful automation and implementation of most trade products and reports on T.I Finastra.
    • Earned several commendations from my line manager for up to date reconciliation of the banks letters of credit contingent report which saved the bank from huge financial loss.
    • Set up of an efficient and effective process for the returns rendition of CFC inward and outward transfers to CBN, and liaised with IT and got them to automate these returns and this made a major impact in the TAT.CBN commended the bank for its efficiency on rendering these returns
    • Design the FX SWITCH form which is still in use by the bank
