  • Set-up the Risk Management functions of Globus bank and formulated frameworks and policies for management of risk.
  • Developed Credit Rating and Derivative model for Globus bank which was duly certified by the bank’s external Auditors (PwC).
  • Played an active role in the merger and integration of 2 banks as well as implementation banking software for loan origination and management.
  • Developed a cashflow monitoring application for the real time monitoring of facility account activity.
  • Developed Early Monitoring Alert Notification system for the management of Bankwide Credit Risk at Diamond Bank Limited
  • Successfully monitored the execution and completion of Shoprite, Onitsha project – Onitsha, Anambra state ($15m).
  • Successfully monitored the execution and completion of Wabeco Tank farm project – Calabar Cross River state ($20m)
  • Participated in due diligence missions of some financial Institutions targeted for acquisitions on behalf of Diamond Bank Plc for the purpose of contributing to a better understanding of risks associated with them.
  • Formulated the project Monitoring template/procedure and prequalification criteria for the engagement of project monitoring consultants in July 2011.
  • Improved Credit risk mitigation by leading the team that developed an application for automation of Insurance premium collection on the bank’s secured loan throughout the loan life cycle.
  • Led the team that developed the Credit Risk Management policy and Framework for Diamond Bank in 2015.
  • Developed the procedural manual for the Monitoring Specialized lending, Power, Maritime and Oil & Gas sector loans.
  • Drafted the Risk Control Self-Assessment for Credit Risk Management.
  • Led the automation of the credit workflow processes in Credit risk Management.
  • Developed several models, templates and portfolio reports for the bank to reduce credit Risk, fraud and to improve operational control.
