Work History

Criminal Investigations Detective

The Nigeria Police Force
Abakaliki, Ebonyi
03.2008 - Current
  • Gathered facts from interviews of suspects, witnesses, and complainants. Invested more than 600 cases, and resolved more than half the number.
  • Delivered calm, professional testimony to support case evidence, establish timelines, and offer law enforcement expertise. I testify as an IPO, and prosecuted about 300 criminal cases as a Prosecutor
  • Identified witnesses and collected statements to gather information and pursue remedies for violations of legal standards, using Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Ebonyi State.
  • Collected crime scene evidence, examined bodies, and investigated secondary locations to build detailed cases based on sound evidence handling practices. This requires diligence, professionalism, and impartiality.

Volunteer (Senior Service Missionary)

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Abakaliki, Enugu Zone

  • Collaborated with local Priesthood leaders to address pressing concerns within the church community, facilitating positive change through targeted interventions in the YSA Gathering Place.
  • Implemented feedback from community members, refining missionary initiatives to better address the needs of those being served. This was why my wife and I integrated BYU-Pathway into our missionary service from zero to more than 2000 students in the gathering places.
  • Facilitated group discussions on faith-based topics, encouraging reflection and growth among participants.
  • Enhanced community relations by organizing and participating in service projects and outreach programs. For instance, Help Start Education assisted more than 300 students with Laptops to access online education/remote jobs
  • Spearheaded youth mentorship programs aimed at fostering personal growth, confidence building, and leadership development among participants. Through these efforts, many YSAs got jobs, and developed amazing skills.
