• Ability to conduct vulnerability scans and recognize vulnerabilities in security systems.
• Hands on experience conducting security reviews and identifying security gaps in IT infrastructure resulting in recommendations of security requirements for inclusion in risk mitigation strategy
• Ability to perform event correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within an enterprise to gain situational awareness and determine the effectiveness of an observed attack
• Ability to monitor external data sources (e.g. cyber defense vendor sites) to maintain currency of cyber defense threat condition and determine which security issues may have an inpact on an enterprise
