  • Operates and maintains radar/radio of the FPSO
  • Radar contacts reporting and events logging
  • Maintains record of charts and marine publications of associated TUPNI site.
  • Maintains, operates, records GMDSS equipment and interprets distress messages on GMDSS

  • Communication with helicopter coming to the field as well as keeping flight watch for such Helicopters

  • Monitor the maritime situation in and around the OML 130 and to check appropriately all vessels heading towards the AKPO and EGINA field
  • Early detection, discrimination, and classification of all radar contacts
  • Monitor and conduct radio watch!
  • Record all maritime movements and events around the OML 130 in a log book
  • Generate a daily report of vessel’s disposition within the AKPO/EGINA field
  • Report on a daily basis the movement of vessels in the field along with their data
  • Maintain a daily summary of diversions from MIZ / MEZ and drills
  • Enforcement of security guidelines and regulations
  • Monitor and assign spotting sectors for effective maritime security cover
  • Provide appropriate challenge and response for effective interventions!
  • Provide guidance to security vessels to suit RSES requirements under Maritime Security Advisor responsibility!
  • To spread alarm in the field to all vessels
  • To report the total POB on the field, and collect the acknowledgement, POB and intentions of all vessels in the field
  • To record all movements and action during intervention
  • To provide clear updates of the situation at any time to the RSES
  • Act as a first point of contact for vessels entering the field
  • Be responsible for controlling vessel permission to enter 500m zone
  • Monitor and operates the GMDSS station and other distress equipment
  • Maintain GMDSS station and carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks of GMDSS
  • Receive and communicate with the MOM and marine superintendent any incoming messages relating to their areas
  • Act as first point of contact for Helicopter and keeping Helicopter flight watch entering and leaving the field
  • Interface with the HLO on information regarding inbound Helicopters and their ETA
  • Monitor Helideck weather station and give weather report to Helicopters and shore based Helicopter station
  • Operate the FPSO public address system (PAGA)
  • Monitor crew boat approaching the boat landings on camera and advise CCR, Security and Logistics accordingly.
  • Lock assigned doors during lockdown.
  • Respond to helicopter booking requests and carry out the booking
  • Compile logistics report and coordinates marine activities at night reference vessel planning.
  • Maintain GMDSS and Radio log
