Data Centre Management

• Setting direction, policy, analyzing and advising on the treatment of security risks; developing or commissioning of Data Centre standards of operation, procedures and guidelines, plus security awareness on information security matters and incident management.
• Reviewed operational plans, policies and procedures for the Data Center and Disaster recovery locations and identified options for continuous improvement.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

• Design and implementation of Organization's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plan and policies. Ensure replication, backup and recovery between primary and secondary sites.

Information Security Management

• Promote ISMS policies, procedures and best practices.
• Contribute to organization wide ISMS initiatives by actively liaising across stakeholders for risk assessment and ISMS review processes.
• Encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Information Security Management

• Monitor security compliance level to ensure minimum 65% compliance level with policies.
• Use tools such as Nessus and Acunetix to carry our Vulnerability Assessment.
• Monitoring the general security landscape and researching current trends in the industry to optimize Cybersecurity.

Network and Firewall Administration

• Managing a network security policy and generate reports.
• Managing and administering firewall and network switches.

Endpoint security

• Ensure Mobile devices are encrypted and enforced data Loss Prevention (DLP)policies.
• Antivirus management and agent Deployment.

• administration/operations - user access management (access rights, passwords); log analysis ; assisting with incident investigations and reporting ;Physical/site security. Scheduling employee shifts, planning for capacity changes,maintain expert knowledge on all business procedures associated with assets and capacity; provide operational and network support
• Review and update Organization's IT strategy and policies

and provide input to departmental yearly budget.

• Ensuring that procedures and controls are correctly implemented that are capable of promptly detecting and responding to incidents, as well ensuring that data center requirements continue to meet the business objectives.
• Perform troubleshooting on network equipment, identify issues and assist in timely resolution of same. Identifying goals that meet business requirements (i.e. checking whether there are adequate resources for achieving them).
