Oria-Usifo, A, Investigated the feasibility of partial replacement of fine aggregate with pulverized glass in concrete production, exploring its impact on concrete properties. The experimental methodology involved systematically replacing fine aggregate with varying percentages of pulverized glass (5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%), with a control batch (0% replacement) for comparison. The results showed that compressive strength peaked at 15% glass replacement, flexural strength improved at 5% glass content, water absorption decreased with increased glass content, but workability consistently declined as glass content rose. The research highlights the potential of waste glass as an eco-friendly material in concrete production, improve mechanical properties of the material, contributing to sustainable construction practices and promoting environmental responsibility by reducing landfill glass waste.
