• Ensure that the implementation of health, environment and safety policy is undertaken by all subcontractors onboard the vessel
• Active participation in the preparation and analysis of the work ( Risk assessment, SIMOPS …), while maintaining the HSE rules of the group.
• Report anomalies, near misses, incident, dangerous occurrences, and other information to the Safety Department.

Assisted by two Shift Supervisors, lead all operational activities mainly based on subsea interventions performed by ROV's, including deck preparations, heavy lifting, and vessel deployment.
• Ensure good communication and cooperation with the FPSO during the simultaneous operations.
• Organize the logistics of the Field Support Vessel in coordination with the onshore base and the field logistical support
• Report daily by phone to the Onshore FSV Superintendent and Support. Maintain records of progress and supply status information
• Interface with all specific queries from Company specialists. Main matters of concern are Safety, QA, Survey, ROV and Marine operations

• Assist Offshore Manager/RSES in technical and SAFETY data collection along daily operations.
• Responsible of subsea intervention and/or installations (X-Mas Trees, jumpers, manifold, concrete mattress, Subsea Production Systems.) on Construction or IMR vessels involving cranes and ROV operations.
• Responsible for safe management of the offshore operations on board and underwater. In direct and close liaison with the Client representative.
• Responsible for vessel mobilisation, preparation and management of the subsea operations and the task plan development.
• Supervise of the rigging/lifting operations executed by the riggers supervised by the Deck Foreman
• Supervise the loading/unloading operations executed by the Crane Operators
• Supervise the subsea operations executed by the ROV team
• Reporting the completed operations to the Client Rep.

Witness on‐board set‐up of new pieces of equipment required for sub‐sea installation/intervention.

• Prepare and submit to Offshore Manager a brief daily report of all subsea operations onboard.

Organize and minute job site meetings that may be required during job performance

• Assisted in maintaining electrical systems on board, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for all ship functions.
• Managed engine room equipment repair projects, coordinating with vendors to ensure efficient completion within budget constraints.
• Provided hands-on assistance during firefighting activities when necessary, prioritizing crew safety above all else.
• Participate on Preventive and corrective maintenance on auxiliar equipaments such as:

-Starting air compressors

-Service air compressors

- Fresh water cooling pumps

-Sea water cooling pumps,

- Fuel oil pumps, Lub.oil pumps
