- Program Implementation: Coordinate the effective implementation of HSE/IMS programs and initiatives, monitor progress against defined objectives, and evaluate outcomes to ensure compliance, enhance operational performance, and drive continual improvement.
- Safety Training: Deliver HSE training and competency development programs to enhance workforce awareness, strengthen safety culture, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics through tracking and verification of operational safety performances to draw up appropriate leads that ensures grow.
- Technical Safety Review: Conduct technical safety reviews of facilities, equipment, processes, and projects to identify potential hazards, verify compliance with applicable standards, and recommend risk mitigation measures that enhance asset integrity and operational safety.
- Change Management: Coordinate and oversee the Management of Change (MoC) process to ensure all proposed changes to facilities, equipment, processes, procedures, and personnel are systematically assessed for EHS risks, approved, implemented, and verified without compromising safety, regulatory compliance, or operational integrity.
- KPI Reporting: Coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and timely reporting of EHS/IMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision-making, ensure compliance, and drive continual improvement
- Policy Development: Review, develop and continuously improve EHS/IMS policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives, ensuring effective implementation and sustained compliance across all operations.
- Process Improvement: Continuous improvement of EHS/IMS processes by identifying gaps, implementing effective corrective actions, and monitoring outcomes to enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and overall HSE performance.
- Department interface: Provide EHS/IMS coordination and technical support across departments by facilitating cross-functional collaboration, aligning operational activities with EHS requirements, and promoting effective communication to ensure compliance and continuous performance improvement.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate and oversee emergency preparedness and response programs by ensuring emergency plans, personnel, equipment and resources remain fully operational, conducting periodic drills and evaluations and driving continuous improvements to enhance organizational resilience and minimize the impact of emergency incidents.
- PTW Implementation: Implement and maintain the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure all high-risk activities are properly assessed, authorized, monitored, and executed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
