  • Overseeing and agreeing on contracts for providers of services including cleaning, mechanical, electrical, plumbing services, etc
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds, etc
  • Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, air conditioning, power plants, etc are well-maintained and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule is carried out accordingly with up-to-date records

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Project managed the transitioning of the Head office campus power supply from diesel consumption to gas, as part of the Bank’s environmental sustainability drive which achieved cost savings of N323m
  • I was part of the team who implemented and achieved the ISO 450001 certification for the group, attaining the Beyond Excellence Award for “Excellence in Teamwork”
  • Identification and drive for disposal of obsolete assets in my region (Lagos) contributed to an income generation of circa N350m on disposal of obsolete items across the branch network.
  • Project managed the deployment of a sustainable means of power generation to Branches, deploying hybrid solar (PAAS) to 32 Branch locations YTD and achieving saving of circa N78m
  • Implemented a Branch ambiance rating system resulting in an improvement in Bank’s ambiance ratings as reported by periodic Mystery shopping exercises
  • Executed sustainable initiatives at the Branch and Head office Campuses such as the Installation of SMART Energy monitoring meters at the Head office campuses, Diesel level IoT monitoring devices, installation of Smart inverter backup systems, installation of smart water meters, replacement of modular fluorescent fittings to LED bulbs and Installation of solar powered perimeter lights thereby saving on energy consumption.
  • Successfully managed space planning and allocation of space to ensure effective social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic; earning an award for the “DOYEN OF OPERATIONS”
  • Sustainability & Energy Management: Led the deployment of alternative sustainable power solutions across bank branches, expanding the bank’s solar footprint and reducing carbon emissions. This initiative significantly decreased diesel consumption and achieved cost savings of approximately ₦200 million in the financial year.
