- Lead the agribusiness component of the program and oversees the activities of four broad commodity value chain experts (Aquaculture, Food Crops, Horticulture and Livestock).
- Coordinated the activities of Value Chain Development Firms (VCDFs) to support 40,000 farmers, facilitating group formation, business formalization, market linkages, and post-harvest management. Provided training, developed business plans, and forged alliances with suppliers and off-takers to enhance productivity and market access.
- Support Project leadership in ensuring adequate linkages to local public sectors stakeholders, potential investors, the private sector, donors and development partners active in the agricultural value chain including cooperatives, agribusiness producers, agro-processors, and wholesalers.
- Development and Implementation of the Annual Work Plan (AWP) and budget for sub-components, in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual (PIM).
- Develop capacity building training and mentoring support to the business development and M&E on major agribusiness programs.
- Support sector leadership in the management of effective relationships with private sector partners along the relevant value chains.
