  • Accurately report births, deaths, and outbreaks of notifiable diseases to governmental authorities.
  • Compile, collate and analyze data on all other diseases and health conditions in LG Area.
  • Coordinate active and passive surveillance activities for diseases and health events within the LG Area

  • Appropriately diagnose and manage endemic diseases and injuries in a primary care setting.
  • Conduct monthly data validation meetings to verify quality of data collected from Health facilities.

Accomplishments

  • Successfully worked as the Team lead of the Surveillance Pillar, Oyo State Covid 19 Emergency Response Centre, from March 2020 till August of the same year.
  • During this period, Oyo State EOC in collaboration with NCDC, Community Medicine and Epidemiology Departments, UCH and other partners were able to provide a well coordinated response, with a strong surveillance system in place.
  • Worked as a member of the Infection Prevention Pillar, from August 2020 till October 2021
