Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation of front-end studies, design, engineering, construction, upgrade/integration works, (pre-)/(de-) commissioning related activities along the Gas Transmission System (GTS) corridor including handover in accordance with DEP and relevant codes and standards to ensure integrity of the existing and new assets interfacing the existing assets.

- Coordinate the key pipeline integrity technical interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective closeout of third-party maintenance and operational punch list activities on gas-supplier pipelines for non-routine activities.

- PG risk focal for coordination PG RIC sessions as part of the MTA process and Management of PG concessions & Omnisafe actions to ensure GTS pipeline related risks are adequately managed.

- Coordinate periodic assurance reviews on pipeline integrity, drive the implementation of Integrity Work Plans (IWP) and develop systems for integrity assurance of infrastructure and ancillary facilities in the pipeline system to ensure reliability, capacity & availability of NLNG pipelines and mitigations are adequate to prevent operational leaks.

- Lead the review of new/existing GTS-1 pipeline-related Procedures, Manuals & Guidelines, to ensure that Inspection Strategies, techniques, and analysis are developed and managed in accordance with NLNG Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS).

- Lead pipeline integrity assessments coordinate the annual pipeline integrity reviews and performance monitoring to ensure Pipeline annual integrity report is prepared and made available to NLNG management and the regulatory body (DPR).

- Provide integrity related inputs for all GTS-1 Pipeline license applications/renewals to ensure validity of NLNG’s License to Operate the GTS-1 Pipeline network.

Maintain updated pipeline assets inventory, monitor asset performance, manage asset improvement plans and lifecycle, monitor and guide delivery of implementation strategies and manage pipeline activities performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual) for pipeline asset team to ensure availability of valid/updated as-built documents for all pipeline assets.

In April/May 2018: Led Project Assurance review for Trains 1, 2 & 3 HVAC Systems Upgrade & Replacement of Obsolete HAVC Units (led to about $500k reduction in project cost estimates)

Responsibilities:

- Manage the activities of the main EPC Contractor involved in the delivery of the Benisede Facilities work scope to complete the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the facilities safely, in accordance with the specified standards/specifications, on time and within budget. The Benisede Gas Booster station is one of the four new stations to be constructed as part of the SSAGS Projects (about $2bln project – Construction of 4Nos AG booster compression stations, a Central Gas Processing Facility with capacity for 160MMscf/d and Gas Gathering Pipelines from the 4 booster stations to the CPF).

- Delivery of TQ project in accordance with Shell’s HSSE & SP control framework, ORS, project standards / guides. Ensure best practice Project Controls are implemented for the location, including planning and progress reporting.

- Provide technical interface management with contractors, vendors, and P&T as it pertains to construction deliverables for the SSAGS projects (CPF, Booster stations & Pipelines). Manage the interfaces between the Facilities and Pipelines contractors to ensure effective co-ordination of construction activities at the locations. Manage the interface with the Asset team, to ensure their requirements are considered during project execution, to limit the impact of brown field activities on production and to ensure a smooth handover to Operations.

- SSAGS Projects Focal point for Flawless Project Delivery (FPD)

- Ensure proper Management of Change during detailed design and site construction works.

- Support project manager to evaluate all Variation Proposals on the EPC Contract and give technical advice on merits of each proposal. Part of SSAGS Project Negotiation team for disputed variations and claims.
