Provides HSE leadership, training and operational support across all functional team under my jurisdiction.

» Ensures all HSE processes and procedures are implemented and standardized across functional team under my jurisdiction.

» Tracks organization's health and safety metrics and use the data to identify areas of exposure and to reduce risk.

» Works closely with Engineering and Facilities on special projects involving plant construction, equipment design, and hazardous assessments.

» Assists in all aspects of incident investigation including verification of root causes and approval of the implementation of preventative actions .

» Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.

» Maintains all Federal, State, and Local permits in current and valid condition.

• Ensure permit to work, PTW compliance/monitoring

• Establish vibration data acquisition and measurement points, lube oil sampling locations, build routes for new and existing equipment and manage condition monitoring database.

• Acquire vibration data from bearing points and sample lube oil from approved sampling points on rotating equipment.

• Vibration data and lube oil analysis.

• Report impending faults and recommend preventive actions to the asset team.

• Follow up on recommended preventive actions with asset maintenance team to prevent equipment impending failures, outage and consequent down time.

• Execute Ultrasonic valve leak test on process valves and carryout process valve maintenance.

• Collaborates with responsible maintenance team and reliability professionals to prioritize preventive actions on identified equipment faults to reduce downtime.

• Provide support for compression test to determine the integrity of spark plugs, engine cylinders, piston and rings on engines.

• Participation in Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and perform other duties related to this function to ensure the reliability of plant rotating equipment.

• Collaborate with asset team to establish base line data collection and analysis following new installations, modifications, major maintenance and overhaul of machinery and equipment.

• Provide justification to carryout overhaul of equipment based on equipment condition monitoring report.

• Cooperate with management on issues relating to health, Safety and environment.

• Report UA/UC to prevent accidents.

• Created safe work environment by complying with safety, health and security requirements.
• Conducted incident investigations, participated in audits and collected data and information to maximize workplace safety.
• Mentored and supported staff in identifying and implementing procedures and practices to protect safety and security of workers.
• Support management on development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE policy, programs and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations/legislations.
• Maintain & monitor Health Safety & Environment (HSE) statistics.
• Coordinate emergency response, procedure and drills.
• Carryout safety inspection and internal audits.
• Participate in Job hazard analysis (JHA).
• Ensure permit to work, PTW compliance/monitoring.
• Create HSE awareness at all level of the organization.
• Carryout on site Health Safety and environment (HSE) supervision.
• Maintain & monitor Health Safety & Environment HSE statistics.
• Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance standards.
