RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Soku PACO team to deliver production target of 600MMSCFD and 30,000BBL/D of Gas and Condensate respectively.
2. Prepare Functions’ LT, MT, ST plans and Schedule and keep them EVERGREEN using the planning toolsets (SAP & Live Reliability Tool)
3. Support execution of the Business Plan to deliver the business outcome.
4. Facilitate Weekly MTO and Cadence connect for Soku PU and follows up with Initiative Actions owners for tracking /closeout.
5. Supervised PACO activities and LP NAG, AG2, during September 2022 Soku PU Turnaround.
6. Interface with Maintenance Workshop in reducing the MTTR and Turn Around Time of Asset Equipment sent for Repairs
7. Prepare, track and manage annual AGO, Production Chemicals and Stationaries schedule in sync with the company’s cost efficiency drive.
8. Interface with Maintenance Workshop in reducing the MTTR and Turn Around Time of Asset Equipment sent for Repairs.
9. Interface with the CP, Materials Warehouse and other functional teams in reducing Materials lead Time and assuring the quick delivery of procured Spares and Materials to site.
10. Lead Soku Instrument team and ensure that all planned maintenance activities are carried out as scheduled. Long term and short-term spares management. Ensure new materials are coded in SAP and followed up with relevant approvals. Interface with Vendors and OEM to ensure timely delivering of spares at site thereby preventing any down time on spares.
11. Manage third parties’ activities. Interfacing with NLNG, NUPRC, NAPIMs on periodic Meters proving and certification. Ensure timely execution of activities.
12. Interface with shell Execution team to ensure long lead materials and high cost materials are captured in CAPEX. Raised Network orders to ensure execution of high cost activities thereby reducing the pressure on the Production unit OPEX. Challenges all cost that are not within acceptable range. Liaise with OEM on the actual cost of materials and ensure they are properly implemented. This has led to major cost reduction in the system.
13. Management of Soku work centers. Ensure Subordinate carry out work preparation, planning and execution on schedule. Monitor PM/CM compliance in SAP for Soku Production Unit and Achieve MIE compliance. Also ensure adequate deviation is in place in the case where target date for the activities is not met.
14. Stand-in for The Production Unit Maintenance Team Leader and coordinate all maintenance activities (Instrument, Electrical & Mechanical). Conduct daily maintenance meeting with the crew on board and ensure safe working practice is sustained at each work site. Report activities to the Soku Production Unit Manager-PUM. Assisted the PUM in ensuring that the District produces it limit in a safe manner. Motivate team members to deliver their best in the jobs. Assign task to various team members
15. Carried out staff competency assessment and performance ranking yearly and give feedback.
16. Manages work site HSE and ensure all personnel comply with Shell Life Saving Rule and Process Safety fundamental PSF.
17. Carried out CCC anti-surge controllers maintenance in Soku Gas Plant. Replaced defective Control Valves on the LP Gas & AG2 compressor Anti-surge system.
18 Planned and Execute Soku Yokogawa DCS upgrade for Soku Gas Plant and Flow station. Ensured timely engagement with relevant parties to achieve smooth project delivery.
19. Actively involved in Soku Gas Plant Effluent Turbine Meter Prover Loop Project. Followed with OABP to ensure safe and timely delivery of project.

1. Management of Solar turbine maintenance activities across SCiN. Led the team for Soku Gas Plant Solar turbine Taurus 60 Engine change-out.
2. Carried out MARs 100 Engine Changeout in Bonga FPSO.
3. Actively involved in Solar turbine Taurus 60 Control system Retrofit and VFD upgrade for Soku Gas plant. Ensured safe delivery of the project on G8121. Plans are in place for the upgrade of unit G8101 & G8111.
4.Performed all the solar turbine maintenance activities across SCiN: 4k inspection, 8k inspection, 30k inspection and other specialist maintenance leading to a major cost saving for the company. Facilities includes: Bonga FPSO, Sea Eagle FPSO, Otumara CPF, Imo River AGG, Obigbo AGG, Agbada AGG, Forcados Terminal, FYIP, North Bank
5. Carried out coaching and on the Job training of Shell personnel on Solar turbines maintenance and operations across SCIN. Developed in-house competency. This has reduced downtime of Solar turbines across SCiN.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
1. SRA for successful Participation in Alakiri NAG Plant and Flow Station Revamp after Militant attack in the facility.
2. SPECIAL AWARD: Supporting Bonga Team in 2015 to resolved issues with CCC anti-surge controllers and elimination of high flare Volume. Cost saving of $50k
3. HSSE:
Led the Instrument team to complete Alakiri NAG plant Re-entry project without any incident. All HSSE & SP KPIs were achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Managed all Instrument activities at Alakiri during the revamping period. Replaced all failed field instrument in the Alakiri NAG Plant and Flow station. Liaise with IA workshop on the calibration of controllers and recorders. Supervised Robertshaw panel Revamp at Alakiri flow station.
2. Reactivated SPEC 200 system at Alakiri NAG plant. Rectified all faults on the Water bath Heater system and commissioned Unit Okay.
3. Actively participated in the modification of the Alakiri NAG plant LTS Gas – Gas Heater Exchanger cover.
4. Rectified faults on the CCC Anti-Surge Controller systems at Bonga FPSO on May 2015 thereby reducing gas flare preventing the company from paying fines. Carried out all CCC anti-surge activities across SCiN
5. Worked on Yokogawa shut down and Fire & Gas systems, Foxboro DCS at Belema Gas Plant
6. Carried out condition monitoring on rotating equipment and keep records of the monthly rotating equipment availability.
7. Planned and execute Maintenance & Operations activities in the district. Ensured Maintenance activities are duly captured in SAP R/3 and production activities in Energy component (EC). Organize on site the maintenance operations, which are placed under my responsibility. Supervise the team of technicians and contractors working directly under my supervision.
8. Perform daily work activities, in accordance with individual job/task procedures, checking that the quality of work is acceptable before the equipment is returned to service. Ensure that all equipment is restarted and running efficiently after they are repaired. Maintain a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, in close relationship with other sections, to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations.
9. Review any work carried out by contractors to ensure it has been efficiently executed to an acceptable standard. Assist specialists and contractors working in the facilities in carrying out their jobs successfully.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
1. Achieved an improved Availability of Air Compressor at Belema Gas Plant through the embedment and sustenance of Maintenance Excellence practices such as Failure investigations, Equipment Ownership scheme etc.
2. Championed Belema Re-Entry Project in 2011 and ensured target delivery.
3. Several DIY Interventions estimated at $120k were delivered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carried out all Instrument activities in Belema Flow station and Gas plant and ensure safe production of 36,000 bbl/d and 24MMSCFD of crude oil and Gas respectively.
2. Actively participated in Belema Gas Plant DCS upgrade from Version 4 to Version 8 ZCP controllers. Coordinated the activities from start to finish. Followed up with Invensys for all Site Acceptance Test SAT and Factory Acceptance Test FAT. Report daily activities to Maintenance Team Leader.
3. Carried out calibration of Filed instrument. Repaired most defective instruments thereby saving cost of procurement. Repaired MARS 100 Bleed valve actuator head which would have cost the company about $30,000:00 and the downtime estimated would have been about 6 months.
4. Participated in the Solar turbine field Repairs for Belema’s MARs 100 turbine. Removed the stuck borescope tools.
5. Carried out Fire and Gas system maintenance. Alignment of Open path Gas detectors, Functional testing of all Detectors.
6. Actively participated in HVAC systems revamp project for Belema Gas Plant.
7. Champion Belema Re-entry activities in 2011. Detail work scope and daily activities reporting to the Production Superintendent.
8. Carried out work Planning, Scheduling and Execution and ensure timely closeout in SAP.

2. Carried out detailed scope of the plant situation, List out required materials and firm up work plan for the revamping activities. Set target dates and follow up to ensure compliance.

7. Interface with shell IA workshops on relevant support needed to complete the activities.
8. Redesigned the control room and update drawings as required.
9. Started up the NAG plant and ensure smooth running of the plant. This activity attracted SRA- special Recognition Award from the company.
10. Assisted in Obigbo AGG maintenance activities. Carried out startup of Solar Gas turbine.
11. Actively Involved in the ROCI project implementation for the Western Swamp: Olomoro, Afiesere, Eremu, Otorogu & Ughelli South Flow stations and Gas Plants.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
1. Provided sustained support to the field teams to the achievement of HSE goal zero, Asset Integrity, oil and gas production of 180Kbopd and 80mmscf/d across the Assets in Ekulama District.

1. Participated in the commissioning of Santa Barbara Mobile production Facility (MPF), Belema AGG plant, Ekulama 2 Flow station CAO system.
2. Carried out All Instrument Maintenance activities under supervision in Ekulama district and ensure safe production of about 100kbbl/d of crude Oil. Assisted in station Open up as at when required
3. Performed Instrument activities in Ekulama 1 & 2 Booster station and ensure Booster compressors are functioning as required thereby reducing Gas flaring.
4. Ensured that contractors carried out their assigned task according to SPDC standard. Ensured that Instrument loops are checked, tested and commissioned.
5. Carried out troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of defective parts on the Foxboro DCS and HIMA planner 3 Safeguarding systems at Santa Barbara MPF.
6. Daily report of maintenance activities to the District Head of Maintenance.
7. Raise SAP notification for all job requests and follow through to execution.
