1. Volunteer at the African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF): Supported on environmental conservation and climate action initiatives and contributed to the development of programs focused on promoting renewable energy and preserving natural resources.
2. Climate Advocacy Campaign: Supported climate advocacy initiatives by engaging in workshops and outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about climate change. Actively participated in the THINK, GREEN TAKE ACTION campaign organized by the African International Documentary Festival Foundation, involving tree planting, sanitation efforts, and awareness-raising activities.
3. Cultural Heritage Preservation: promoting the preservation of cultural heritage sites in Nigeria, The Sukur cultural landscape (Africa’s first Cultural Landscape), and emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in maintaining these sites in the face of environmental threats such as climate change.
4. Environmental Education: Participating in educational programs for communities on the importance of environmental conservation, climate change impacts, and sustainable practices especially among women and girls in the northeast of Nigeria (Sukur Cultural Landscape) Engaged in public speaking and educational outreach.
5. Volunteer with Humanitarian Organization (Nigerian Red Cross Service) : Actively participating in humanitarian efforts, particularly those related to climate-induced crises such as floods, droughts, and displacement. Provided support in disaster relief, resource distribution, and community rebuilding initiatives.
