I have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. Applying molecular biology techniques, I researched and identified novel enzymes involved in pimelate biosynthesis in Mycobacterium tuberculosis with the aim of discovering novel drug targets and cure for tuberculosis disease.
I also have experience in working with fungi and plant-parasitic nematodes from my masters and undergraduate degrees. Currently, I teach and get involved in research in the department of Microbiology, Plateau State University, Bokkos Nigeria.
