Achieved LTI-free operations during the period under review. • Developed and got approval of the HSE plan for the year 2022, and began coordination of implementation across the NOFS location. • Developed in-house audit and inspection schedule for the year 2022, and held a training session with selected members to train them on what to do. • Introduced management walk-through which were hitherto non-existent, and MD NOFS led the first walk-through team. • Created database of audit and inspection checklist for all nominated teams. • Ensures a seamless liaison with GHSEQ in the areas of training, advice, audit, inspections, as well as reporting. • Updated the HSE policy and got them approved by the MD, and got them deployed to all NOFS locations. • Coordinated the preparation of project specific HSE plans to ensure we deliver LTI-free services to our clients.
Obtained Regulatory Permits (EIA & EWDPs) from DPR and Federal Ministry of Environment FMEnv which resulted in the successful commencement of rig activities and drilling of Seventeen (7) wells in NPDC’s Oredo (OML 111), Abura (OML 65), Oghareki (OML 49). This boosts NPDC daily production with about 12,000bbls per day translating to about $1.2million per day at $70 per barrel. § Obtained EIA approvals and EWDPs for Utapate, Ibotio and Akai fields in OML 13 ready to commence drilling. When drilled, the appraisal wells will determine addition to NPDC reserve. §Commenced EIA of 3D Data Acquisition in OMLs 40 (Gbetiokun) which resulted in the successful acquisition of Seismic data for more prospects in these fields. § Achieved clean and safe environment in NPDC operations (no litigation or host community restiveness) due to compliance with Regulatory provisions in EIA and Environmental Compliance Monitoring (ECMs) § Several successful negotiations with Consultants handling the specialized Environmental Studies for NPDC leading to huge savings for NPDC
As Project HSE Manager, achieved Seven Million Man-Hours-LTI-Free in 604km² seismic data acquisition project in Eight (8) months for NPDC, thus earning revenue in excess of $43.4M approx.=N=13,24B @305/$ to NNPC/IDSL cost effectively; operational cost was =N=2.67B; equally ensuring cost saving for the client NPDC. Achieved. • Committee member ISO 14001 & 9001 certification Committee of IDSL which led IDSL to get the certification in 2018.
