Mandate of Centre for satellite technology development is to develop capacity and build a wholly made-in-Nigeria Satellite.

With full support of The Centre Director, The project office which i head

*Divided the entire technical staff in to research groups with specific mandate to design and fabricate specific satellite sub-system.

*We mobilized and ensured that funds are made available

*We provided adequate supervision, gave continuous monitoring and evaluated the progress of the groups at defined intervals

*Today we have a number of sub-system fully designed and fabricated in-house as prove of concept.

*Today we have happy technical staff because of engagement and lessons learnt from on-the-job training.
