Analyze the purchase request from the users and determine the appropriate method of procurement, quotations, tender, and request for management approval.

Coordinate the preparation of procurement documents, utilizing sound sustainable procurement best practices, while adhering to company procurement policies prior to the award of the contract.

Perform audits of the procurement process to identify high usage of items where pricing agreements may benefit the company.

Interface closely with production and all plant support departments to ensure activities are accurately executed effectively and efficiently.

Interfacing closely with material management for maintaining accurate stock inventories.

Developing and maintaining suppliers' loyalty and source reliability.

Procurement of various items required in the steel plant (110 MW Power Plant and Rolling Mills).

Annual maintenance, plant operations, and labor contracts.

Commercial and technical evaluation, and award of contract.

Coordinate with suppliers and end-users with respect to selection, purchase, delivery, and installation of equipment.

Any other procurement duties that may be assigned by Management.

Carry out the pricing function on all items required by the company.

Developed a price data bank of all items, with a periodic review.

Vetting of proposals for the procurement of goods and services for management approval.
