- Facilitate the implementation of the project’s Grievances Redress Mechanism (GRM) by monitoring the status of grievances, facilitating their resolutions, maintaining their documentation and reporting the progress through monitoring reports.
- Conduct social protection compliance session for project staff, government agencies, contractors and other stakeholders of the project and sub-project.
- Prepare regular social safeguards monitoring reports and undertake all other tasks in compliance with the project SOP for social safeguards in the PIM.
- Facilitated and supported the enrolment, validation and deployment of 4,538 vulnerable persons in Yobe state under the Labour Intensive Public Works (LIPW) to provide temporary job opportunities to increase household income, build community resilience, promote social cohesion and restore market functionality.
