Project Engineer - Remote

Delattre Bezons Nigeria Ltd (DBN Energies)

  • Complete rehabilitation of Fired Heaters and reactors including 10H01, 10H02, 13H01/02
  • Complete retubing of the heater coils (Alloy materials) - Demolition and replacement
  • Complete replacement of refractory material inside the heaters and other cladding materials
  • Procure and replace Air Pre-Heater equipment
  • Procure and replace Soot Blower units
  • Servicing of damper mechanism
  • Repair of damage heater body
  • Upgrading of instrumentation system (oxygen analyzers, draft gauges, converters etc)
  • External painting of the heater structures
  • Duties and responsibility includes but not limited to:
  • I Plan and coordinate kaduna refinery rehabilitation project from start, including organising the schedule of work, costings and budget
  • Carry out work breakdown structure (WBS) to determine work phase and plan for manpower loading and equipment mobilization
  • I Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs along with project Planner
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control.
  • I ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting timelines, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress
  • Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections and audit
  • Issue daily, weekly and monthly projects report for management reviews
  • I maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management
  • Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others involved in the project
  • Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project.

  • Execute and generate technical drawings for a wide range of uses using CAD (computer-aided design) and PDMS (E3).
