- Carried out timely and reliable routine and non-routine analytical tasks according to Sample Manger schedule involving a combination of different lab techniques.
- Performed preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting of all laboratory equipment including ICP, TOC, IC, Density meter, Viscosity meter, OptiFlash, Optidist, Vapour pressure analyzer, Karl Fisher, Gum analyzer, Gas chromatograph and other spectrophotometers.
- Carried out test method validation including quality assurance work for analytical applications according to ASTM D6299 guidelines in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
- Contributed to the HSE performance of the laboratory according to ISO14001 standard with adherence to industry best practices.
- Carried out sampling and analysis of gas samples during compressor re- bundling and surge test and generate analytical report to the surge test team to ascertain the compressor performance.
- Carried out routine and non-routine sampling and analyses of in- process gas/lpg samples to ensure the set specifications of the respective process units are maintained and report any offset to the operations department for fine tuning.
- Carried out hydrocarbon sampling and analyses in monitoring the feed gas from the gas transmission system for the presence of mercury and Sulphur contaminants.
- Carried out sampling and analyses of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Natural Gas Liquid (Condensate), and vaporized Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in line with the sales purchase agreement and issue certificate of quality (COQ) for every cargo sold by Nigeria LNG Limited; this COQ is used to calculate the value in dollar of the cargo.
- Developed work instruction/procedures for all laboratory equipment and analytical test methods in compliance with site wide management systems requirements.
- Implement scheduled in-house on the job training/development program for trainee Analysts.
- Carried out chemical and microbiological analyses on service water, drinking water, borehole water, fire water water and cooling water samples.
- Isolated and Enumerated Legionella bacteria in cooling water, drinking water and other water systems.
- Executed audit and other activities aimed at maintaining certification/accreditation received on all management system standards to which company has been certified e.g., ISO14001:2015, ISO17025:2017, ISO 9001:2015.
