Meekah Jagun

Accra,Ghana

Summary

I am a multicultural filmmaker and narrative leader with a professional background in Law and Business. Following the completion of a UK Law degree (LLB) and a Master’s in Business (MSc), I transitioned from real estate to visual storytelling in 2021. This shift was initiated by the acquisition of my first camera and has since allowed me to establish a dedicated practice within the West African creative industry. My upbringing across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Ghana provides a Pan-African fluency that informs my work, which focuses on modern African aesthetics and rejects traditional stereotypical tropes. I seek to join the UM6P Story School ecosystem to refine my narrative frameworks and engage in cross-disciplinary co-creation with fellow laureates.
