Duties: Assist the Project Manager to coordinate and control the engineering tasks relative to the Project.

∙ Assist the Project Manager in his technical relations with Suppliers and Subcontractors. ∙ Organize and coordinate the contract review for the section concerning engineering and issue the corresponding summary document.

∙ Coordinate the delivery of site engineering with the Technical Office.

∙ Coordinate with the Fabrication Project Manager and make sure the engineering issues are in line with the construction activity planning and progress.

∙ Coordinates with the Yard QC Manager regarding the issue of Weld Marks drawings and As Built drawings.

∙ Participate in preparing the project schedule for the engineering section.

∙ Develop, whenever needed, the detailed engineering schedule, within the framework of the general schedule, control its progress and regularly report on it to the Deputy Project Manager.

∙ Issue regularly, based on a frequency to be agreed upon with the Deputy Project Manager but at least on a monthly basis, the progress of the project engineering section, follow-up and forecast changes in the budget and propose any corrective actions necessary.

∙ Ensure supervision of engineering Subcontractors and, in particular, verify that the constructability of the design conforms with the construction requirements, contractual obligations and to the quality assurance provisions.

∙ Meet the contractual technical requirements during the design and development stage of the project, which implies, in particular, the following tasks:

∙ Coordinate reception of drawings and specifications.

∙ Ensure that the design enables optimal profitability of the project.

∙ Carry out a design review.

∙ Analyse Customer documents and request from him, in agreement with the Deputy Project Manager, any possible clarifications or waivers.

∙ Organize and lead engineering design review meetings.

∙ Draw up the engineering documents in line with the construction options selected.

∙ Supervise the drawing up of plot plans, construction drawings, calculation notes, specifications, requisitions, comparisons tables of supplier technical offers and all other technical documents. ∙ Ensure the distribution of engineering documents, with their most recent revisions, to all in-house or outside parties concerned.

∙ Update and regularly issue, at least on a monthly basis, a summary of the quantities remaining to be requisitioned.

∙ Initiate, update or have updated the computerized report "procurement follow-up" for the section concerning him.

∙ Solve, in cooperation with the Project Manager, technical problems that might come up during site engineering.

∙ Manage, in cooperation with the Project Manager, modifications from the customer: ∙ By verifying their impact on cost and execution time for the engineering section:

∙ By making sure that they do not adversely affect final quality and the project overall time frame. ∙ By immediately proposing the appropriate measures.

∙ Verify that the construction methods are neither dangerous nor likely to endanger the health and safety of the personnel or the environment.

∙ Bring to light and resolve with the specialists concerned, all problems that may affect safety, quality, schedule or cost of the project.

∙ Effectively implement the principles and provisions of quality assurance and, in particular, supervise verification and approval of all documents issued under his responsibility.

∙ Participate in drawing up the engineering section of the project completion report, underlining all technical, financial and contractual lessons.
