Currently serving as PSC Contracts and Procurement Advisor – Materials & Technical Services at NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS), a Strategic Business Unit of NNPC Limited.
Experienced in managing end-to-end procurement and tender processes for Production Sharing Contract (PSC) operations, including technical service contracts, vendor engagement, commercial negotiations and compliance with corporate procurement policies and regulatory frameworks.
Strong background in tender strategy development, bid evaluation, contract award processes, market intelligence and procurement performance monitoring. Proven ability to deliver cost optimisation, value preservation and procurement efficiency while supporting upstream operational activities.
Responsible for managing procurement and contracting processes for technical services under Production Sharing Contract (PSC) operations to ensure efficient supply chain support for upstream activities.
1. Drive end-to-end tendering processes for PSC technical services including Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) and other upstream service contracts.
2. Manage procurement activities including Purchase Order (PO) and Work Order (WO) administration, ensuring operationalisation of awarded contracts.
3. Ensure procurement processes comply with NNPC Supply Chain Management policies, regulatory requirements and international best practices.
4. Support value preservation for the Federation, NNPC Limited and PSC partners through cost-effective procurement strategies.
5. Ensure required technical services for PSC operations are procured at the right price, right quality and right time through approved procurement frameworks.
6. Conduct market surveys and market intelligence analysis for technical services to guide procurement strategy and vendor selection.
7. Liaise with the Contract Management Department to ensure effective contract development, administration and performance monitoring.
8. Maintain procurement performance metrics and analytics to evaluate supplier performance, service cost and operational efficiency.
9. Participate in SUBCOM meetings reviewing PSC company work programmes, budgets and procurement performance.
10. Lead negotiations with suppliers and service providers on commercial terms, pricing and contract conditions.
11. Coordinate the review of technical proposals and procurement documentation submitted by vendors supporting PSC operations.
12. Prepare periodic procurement reports and strategic updates for the Deputy Manager, PSC Materials & Technical Services.
