  • Submit quarterly and yearly report of all the health activities in the LGA to the RSPHCMB.
  • Oversee all immunization services, maintenance of cold chain system and adherence to vaccine accountability framework.
  • Coordinate the social mobilization in the LGA to ensure proper health messages are delivered to the target audience.
  • Coordinate school health activities in all schools within the LGA.
  • Coordinate surveillance and disease control activities in the LGA.
  • Liason officer between the community, general hospitals, and other health related bodies for the effective implementation of Primary health care in the LGA.

  • Supervise the following programs within the LGA: Disease Surveillance and Notification (DSN), Monitoring and Evaluation (HMIS), Health Education and Social Mobilization, Nutrition, Control of Diarrheal Diseases, Tuberculosis and leprosy Control, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Immunization/Cold Chain Management, School and adolescent health, Reproductive health (RH)/Family Planning (FP).
