12. Escalate reported cases to the Engineering Investigation Panel (EIP) on allegations of professional misconduct
brought against any registered engineering practitioners as may be referred to it by Council or the President, and
advise Council as appropriate.
13. Ensure the EIP conducts speedy investigation for timely response on cases of infractions to serve as deterrent.

• As ICT Technical Working Group at national level on National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP) for 30 years (2014-2043). The assignment which lasted for six (6) months involves understudying ICT master plans of selected nations (developed and developing economies) across African continent and the world. These includes ITU guidelines for preparation of ICT master plan, OECD policy strategies for a knowledge-based economy as well as development of 21stcentury competencies, Myanmar ICT master plan, Mauritius National Information & Communication Strategic Plan (NICTSP 2011-2014), India’s Digital master plan, Singapore National ICT master plan, ICT policies and development in the Republic of Korea and U-Korea master plan among several other master plans.
• The final report was endorsed by the National Economic Council (NEC) of Nigeria with McKinsey & Co as coordinating consulting firm and approved finally by the Federal Executive Council (FEC); the highest Decision making Body nationally on 21st November, 2014.
