Mr. Kelvin F.B. Biiranee was appointed the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Fund Managers Limited, a Non-Banking Subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc, in July 2022. Prior to this appointment, he was a General Manager of Guaranty Trust Bank Limited. Biiranee has over two decades of experience and began his professional career in October 2002 as a Wealth Advisor at Venture Trust Limited and later joined Ukariwe Eke & Co. Chartered Accountants (2003), where, from both companies, he honed his skills in Wealth Management, Assurance and Business Advisory before transitioning to the Banking Sector - Zenith Bank (2003); and Guaranty Trust Bank (2007). During his banking career, Kelvin has held leadership roles within Operations, Retail, Corporate and Institutional Banking. Mr. Biiranee's Executive and Professional Education is broad and varied. He has obtained the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) of the Lagos Business School and attended General Management Programme of IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain; McKinsey & Company, Boston USA; London School of Economics (LSE), United Kingdom and INSEAD, Fontainebleau in France. Kelvin is a Fellow of a global professional accountancy body - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA); Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB); and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI). Mr Biiranee is a Sponsored Individual of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria with registration for Fund/Portfolio Manager & Corporate Investment Adviser. Mr. K.F.B. Biiranee attended Army Children School and a Commercial College and thereafter obtained his first degree in Accounting from University of Port Harcourt. Kelvin has completed Specialized Master's degrees in Finance; Accounting & Finance; and Global Central Banking & Financial Regulation from University of Lagos; University of Manchester and University of Warwick respectively.
