Accomplishments

  • One of my proudest achievements was when I led a Zenith’s research team to develop a macroeconomic model and forecast for Zenith Bank in line with IFRS 9. The model covers about 17 sectors of the economy and has been integrated into the expected credit loss provision. Similarly, we have worked intimately with the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP-FI) to drive the bank’s adoption of Principles for Responsible Banking. We identified our most significant positive and negative environmental footprints and set SMART goals and targets, with on sustainable waste management and energy efficiency.
