Feed the Future Livelihood Project, final evaluation survey
● Trained enumerators and research assistants from Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa states, ahead of the final evaluation survey.
● Engaged beneficiaries, non-beneficiaries, identifying gaps, utilizing observation, focus group discussions, and Key Informant Interviews.
● Coordinated data collection of all qualitative and quantitative field activities, group formation assessment, and success stories analysis.

● Survey led to showcasing impressive program performance. For instance, number of hectares under cultivation using improved technologies improved by 241% while percentage of total income generated from off-farm activities improved by 194% from baseline recorded.

Nutrition program (IYCF, CMAM), Kaga LGA, Borno State
● Mobilized and trained fifty (50) community volunteers from Beneshiek and Mallamti in Kaga LGA of Borno State on creating awareness for improved infant and young child feeding (IYCF), community management of acute malnutrition (CMAM); use and interpretation of MUAC indicators
● Improved knowledge and skills of community volunteers to identify cases of acute malnutrition, create awareness on good nutrition and hygiene.
● House-to-house discussions with women, men and youths and activities aimed at encouraging behavioral change in mother and child nutrition, improving knowledge, attitude and practice of the people with further talks on proper and complementary breastfeeding

Yellow Fever DREF Operation, ENUGU state
Responsibilities
● Facilitated the training of 134 community-based volunteers across six (6)
selected LGAs in Enugu State
● Supportive supervision of volunteers and daily monitoring of field activities.
● Monitored and tracked the implementation plan to ensure all activities were conducted promptly.
● Reviewed plans and conducted weekly briefing sessions with volunteers and Branch Officers to track progress.
● Reported field actions and updated with action pictures sent to the Operation Focal Point
● Conducted a weekly review of volunteers reporting sheets and support to PMER focal point to send weekly summary sheets.
● Supported the Enugu branch in conducting advocacy to Government, other stakeholders and facilitated community engagement
● Collaborated with the Branch Officers, Represent NRCS in stakeholders’
meetings to showcase the NRCS support and volunteer activities aimed at
curbing the spread of Yellow Fever spread.
● Delivered an End of Mission report with key recommendations from lessons
learned during the operation.
● Surpassed the set target for 48,000 Households (HH) and the total number of
people sensitized while achieving a 100% beneficiary distribution target of 5,000 Households (HH)
COVID-19 Emergency Operation
● Facilitated a Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) and Contact Tracing (CT) COVID-19 training in Delta and Edo States for sixty (60) community-based volunteers.
● Participated in community and advocacy visits
● Presented on live radio at Independence Radio, Benin City "Risk Communication and Community engagement protocols on COVID-19".
HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT), Akwa Ibom State.
● Target: Prisoners and staff of Ikot Ekpene Prisons and 3,000 people in surrounding communities, in collaboration with Akwa Ibom State Action Committee on AIDS (AKSACA)
● Mobilized and trained 50 community-based volunteers on HCT, spreading awareness about ease of testing, availability of counseling services, key messages on anti-stigmatization and non-discrimination of HIV-positive individuals, distribution of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials and voluntary testing on-site and at healthcare facilities
● Acquired baseline data on KAP of male and female inmates on HIV
● Had a 96% target turnout of inmates for voluntary testing.
● 102% of target testing of surrounding community residents achieved
● Documentation and referral of new cases to healthcare facilities
● Distribution of cash support for HIV-positive inmates, to support their nutrition needs while establishing links to healthcare facilities

● Trained 40 community-based volunteers on social mobilization for polio
vaccination in Kano State.

distribution of handwashing materials, and other Non-food items in Zhayi (Jahi) communities, Abuja
