- Perform daily/weekly/monthly/annual etc. operational check.
- Closely following all corporate and manufacturer procedure to monitor and inspect power plant Operational controls, Back-up Supplies and Auxiliary Equipment and indicators on screen using HMI(SIEMENS PCS7 software & CMS) e.t.c to detect evidence of operating problem and report issues to relevant personnel for quick resolution.
- Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs and report.
- Communicate with other Central Control Room(CCR) personnel, in order to asses Gas Turbine Operating status on Load Demand.
- Receive outage calls and call in necessary personnel during power outages and emergencies.
- Performed emergency operations to shut down faulty equipment, maintain electric service and safeguard station machinery.
- Collect generating unit oil samples for laboratory analysis.
