I am a very seasoned and experienced MRI Technologist. I bring with me over seven (7) years of work experience handling the following machine:- Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Essenza, Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Sempra and Phillips 1.5T Ingenia.
I have performed over 10,000 simple to complex MRI Scans, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, ambulatory and non-ambulatory, sedated and non-sedated, conscious and unconscious patients.
I love teaching and I guide and mentor colleagues and supervise Interns as well as students.
Administratively, I supervise, lead and manage a team of 20 Medical Radiation Technologist. I am friendly, calm, approachable, conscientious, professional, multilingual and highly organized, efficient, with a thorough and precise approach to investigations to producing excellent results.

- Carries out all Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scans.
- Research. optimize and improve on existing sequences so as to produce high quality and diagnostic MRI scans for optimum analysis by Radiologist. I create new sequences as well.
- Screen patients for safety before undergoing any MRI scans.
I screen for implants, aneurysm clips and pacemakers and
follow the necessary safety precautions for entry to the magnet room to protect themselves, the patient, their colleagues, other members of the health care team and any other individuals who may be present. - I explain the MRI procedure to patient and their relatives if any, I obtain both written and verbal consent before the exam commences, then position patient and coils and scan using appropriate sequences.
- Team Lead:- As a team lead, I teach, guide and nurture younger colleagues as they progress in their career.
- I equally design the work schedule and co-ordinate the Clinical Rotation of a team of 20 Medical Radiation Technologist across 5 sites, inclusive of the Head quarters.
- I travel between sites to offer support and train newly employed colleagues and help stabilize the department.
- I do address any concerns or questions from patients regarding their scans or procedures and I do liaise with the Radiologist and referring physician if need be.
