Reading, Researching and Meeting People

• Safety supervision and leadership, Safety management and system evaluation and managing personal protective equipment.
• Response to emergency calls, including structure fire, wild land fires, vehicles accidents, rescue and other emergencies.
• Respond to automatic fire alarms.
• Maintain fire apparatus, quarters, buildings and equipment.
• Inspect buildings and business for fire hazard and compliance with fire prevention ordinances, resulting in directing fire violation to be corrected.
• Administer first-aid to ill or injured individuals and those overcome by fire and smoke with medical intervention at an Emergency Medical Technical (EMA) level, perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
