· Worked to ensure the frontline delivery of programme objectives with focus on strengthening citizens’ engagement in government processes for improved service delivery especially in education and health.

· Led in communication for reforms and local governance activities including working with media and other stakeholders to ensure citizens become increasingly effective at influencing governance and service delivery.

· Facilitated Public Policy Dialogues that led to the development of government policies including the Teacher Policy, Free Education Policy and review of the JICHMA law among others.

• Coordinated programme activities between LGAs and State governments as well as with other government partners to strengthen leadership and management of MNCH.
• ·Facilitated regular conducts of LGA PHC department capacity assessment using OCAT; developed and implemented capacity development Plans and supported the state Health Sector to strengthen Primary Health Care through facilitating the implementation of PHC Under One Roof (PHCUOR) as well as enhancing HRH through task shifting policy.
• Worked to produce media briefs for both electronic and print media, regularly collaborating with media to get appropriate coverage of programmes.
• Coordinated and supported capacity building for Health care providers through trainings, mentoring, coaching and Integrated supportive supervision as well as the innovative and culturally driven demand generation intervention using traditional community structures including Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs), Religious Leaders, Facility Management Committees (FMCs), Male Influencers as well as Young Women support Groups.
• Worked as part of team that facilitated dialogue between the state House (Assembly) committee on Health, NLC, SMOH and NHIS which eventually led to the passing into law of Kano State Contributory Health Care Scheme.

• Assessed capacity of health departments of Local Government Areas (LGAs) to deliver integrated MNCH services using Organizational Capacity Assessment Tool (OCAT) in Kano and Katsina states.
• Facilitated training of OCA LGA facilitators while supporting LGAs to develop capacity development plans in states.
• Documented processes and outcomes of OCA trainings in elaborate reports to enable scale up and replication.

• Led the implementation of six projects cutting across Family Planning, MNCH including malaria, HIV&AIDS in both private and public sector to ensure achievement of above average performance of all set goals by the various Projects.
• Provided Strategic Leadership and guidance to over 12 staff ensuring compliance to SFH policy and practices.

• Led the successful implementation of CIHPAC (HIV Prevention) Project through CSOs including Prisons Intervention, Transport workers (Motor parks) and youth out of school Interventions all recognized by the states SACA.
• Led successful implementation of IRHIN (Family Planning) project through CSOs especially the demand creation component at community level in Kaduna and Katsina with full support of all community actors including Religious leaders and women groups.
• Partnership and Advocacy: Built and maintained relationships between SFH and Governments of the two states and acted as corporate lead in the states.

• Managed SFH relationships with SACAs in Bauchi and Gombe states including supporting and strengthening the systems of State Agency for the Control of AIDS in areas of development of State Strategic Plans, Operational Plans and resource mobilisation for HIV Interventions.
• Actively participated in several states' Technical Working Groups.
• Monitored, mentored and coached Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), community Based Organizations (CBOs) and CBOs coalition and networks implementing SFH Programs in HIV Prevention, Family Planning demand creation and Malaria social mobilisation.

• Worked with positive living people and groups, FBOs and NGOs to reduce stigma and discrimination and improve quality of life of PLWHAs.
• Worked as SFH trainer on Coca Cola Africa Foundation Workplace project in Jos and trained several Peer educators among junior and contract staff on HIV prevention programme.
• Coordinated SFH service delivery interventions including Mobile HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) and ensured all services were successfully conducted in accordance with national guidelines and with strict compliance to Standards of Practice (SOP).
• Coordinated and ensured implementation of corridor project and provided other services to transport workers and uniform service men.
• Coordinated implementation of SFH programme strategy for Mass Media intervention including anchoring phone-in programme in designated region.
