- Reviewed drawings and supervised the design, construction, testing, Installation of flowlines and control systems for all well commissioning at Ebok field since 2012 in accordance with ASME31.3, API5L, API 14C and 14E.
- Conducted frequent review of initial process design (MFD, PFD and P&ID), equipment sizing and process simulations with Hyssys, Pipesim, Flarenet and Fisher control valve sizing software to investigate debottlenecking issues, unexpected process upset or determine the impact of a planned changes in design and operating conditions due to changes in fluid properties or increase in production.
- Participated in design review of Ebok CFBX process plant topsides, vessels, piping, and equipment sizing (rotating and static), HAZID and HAZOP review, Transportation from Houston, jacket, and topsides platform offshore installation.
- Conducted SAFE chart review for MOC input according to API 14C for process modification done in EBOK field.
- Developed and conducted risk-based inspection-RBI (API 581) on structure, vessels, piping PSVs, LCVs, SDVs and condition monitoring inspections for equipment and electrical systems to update field maintenance plan, corrosion control plan, calibration, and recertification plan according to the relevant codes.
- Planned and managed several field shutdown maintenances at EBOK field with value above five million dollars: for vessel cleaning, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and modification that requires plant shutdown. Always within time and budget, and zero safety incident.
- Managed several technical projects execution within time and budget, coordinate project engineers and engineering resources, contractors, materials delivery, managing risks and opportunities.
- Recommended and implemented the use of Hyspan joint with hard piping to replace the unreliable flexible hoses.
- Supervised several structural and piping welding activities, development of various WPS (welding procedure and specification), QPR (welder’s qualification procedure) and non-destructive testing according to ASME IX.
- Managed the design, construction, Installation, and commissioning two six slots gas lift manifold.
- Managed the design and implementation of produced water transfer system from oil storage back to water injection system for pressure maintenance and saved the company about twelve million dollars annually by eliminating the need for a standby water shuttle tanker.
- Managed data gathering to validate plates heat exchangers design basis, and reviewed heat exchangers capacity based on actual fluid properties to oversee design flowrate with an acceptable pressure drop. Selected a new metallurgy (Alloy59) with higher thickness to prevent incessant plates breakage.
- Managed the design, installation and commissioning of Cummins generators and ABB Synchronisation LV panels to provide power supply for ESP (electrical submersible pumps).
- Develop scope of work for cleaning and intelligent pigging, technical prequalification of vendors and supervise pigging operation.
- Manage annual platform, pipeline and vessels integrity management system and conduct necessary preventive and corrective measure to achieve or extended design life.
- Manage various inspection and certification programs such as ABS Class, equipment condition monitoring, wellhead, cathodic protection, PSV calibration, cranes, F&G system etc.
