  • Seconded by NNPC to the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC)
  • To liaise with the International Oil Company for the source of gas supply to all the Government Power Plants
  • Identified Gas nodes nearer to the Power Plant Locations
  • Participate in Gas Supply Bids and evaluation of bids when returned by various bidders.
  • Evaluated the bids in conjunction with the IOC’s and awarded them to the lowest bidders.
  • Key Achievements:
  • All the Power Plants were assigned Gas Supply nodes from various IOC’s during the period.
  • Key Gas Supply Agreements were executed effectively with IOC’s concern in conjunction with the Gas Aggregation Company. The Agreements at that time was not fully effective due to payments terms in the Agreements. Example is Alaoji and Papalanto.

  • Achievements:
  • The first LNG stand alone project was initiated by GREENVILLE LNG with the aim of distributing gas through Trucks to where it is highly needed. The facilities were ready but the Gas Supply to the facilities was not feasible. I and my team initiated the Gas Supply opportunities through Nigerian Agip Oil Company in conjunction with Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria (GACN).
  • Agreement was set up and negotiated with NAPIMS, Agip Oil Company and GACN.
  • Successfully coordinated the assignment of Flare Points to most third party Investors.
