  • 1) Improving capacities to leverage migrant remittances for development in Ghana Contributing to:
  • I) A household survey on remittances in Ghana
  • Ii) A qualitative assessment of the role of financial institutions in remittance services in Ghana
  • Iii) Elaborating the development of a set of remittance recommendations to improve remittance services in Ghana
  • 2) Supported the implementation of the project Connecting Diaspora for Development and Entrepreneurship by the diaspora for development
  • The two projects were key in facilitating over fifty (50) assignments of diaspora experts in knowledge and skill transfer interventions and business development opportunities
  • 3) In collaboration with key government stakeholders, supported the National Development Commission in implementing a mainstream migration into the national development policy framework project
  • The project contributed to the audit and integration of migration in sectoral and district development plans
  • 4) Assisted with the coordination and implementation of the project: Mainstreaming migration into the national census
  • Supporting the integration of migration into the census and currently supporting the drafting of a migration thematic report
