Provided technical support to the EH Manager for the implementation of WASH infrastructures in supported health facilities under the EuropeAid (Devco) funded, EU Support for Early Recovery and Rehabilitation of Basic Services and Livelihoods across Konduga, Magumeri, Gwoza, and Mafa LGAs of Borno State. This was achieved through the qualitative infrastructure designs, bill of quantity, and site supervision of construction works across targeted health facilities in Borno State

• Participated in full implementation of 50 WASH infrastructures in supported health facilities across Konduga, Magumeri, Gwoza, and Mafa LGAs of Borno State
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong work ethic.

Provided leadership, in the technical implementation, coordination & representation, and financial and operational management, for EuropeAid (Devco) funded, EU Support for Early Recovery and Rehabilitation of Basic Services and Livelihoods project in Borno State, Nigeria. The WASH project components worth € 1.83 million targeted strengthening WASH and IPC in health facilities across Konduga, Magumeri, Gwoza, and Mafa LGAs of Borno state

• Participated fully in design, implementation, and management of all WASH in health facilities across LGAs of interventions, ensuring there are adequate water infrastructures, sanitation facilities, and Infection prevention and control measures to stop transmission of infections in health care environments

• Actively integrating with other sectors within IRC for effective project implementation across LGAs of operation within Borno state
• Work closely with external stakeholders; Ministry of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement (MRRR), State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA), and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) in implementing WASH activities in supported health facilities in Borno state.

Under the supervision of the EH infrastructure officer, worked closely with the community structures (WASHCOMS, Community Volunteers) to implement WASH activities in targeted locations in Maiduguri and Jere LGAs of Borno state

• Assisted EH/WASH team in day to day field implementation of Water and Sanitation infrastructure development and Maintenance in project areas
• Developed technical capacity of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Committees (WASHCOMS), Community Volunteers (CVs), and other local partners through training
• Gained extensive knowledge in data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Participated in preparation of 35 BOQs and scope of work for construction projects
