  • Supervised Sampling of Nominated tanks before and after intake on all shuttle tanker (Mt halima, Moriarty, Holmes, Zango)
  • Ensure that distribution operations activities/procedures are carried out in accordance with established procedures, controls and company policies.
  • liaise with field operations team to ensure a smooth supply of Cargo and maintain steady/ uninterrupted delivery of crude from Cawthorne channel to FSO CAWTHORNE, prevent tank top situation at the loading station.
  • Reconcile with NUPRC with regards to evacuated volumes.
  • Generate certificate of cargo transfer receipt, document them for future audit.
  • Draft and implement shuttle tanker scheduling and do a follow up.
  • Verify and sign all ullage sheets and certificate of quantity
  • Monitor the quality of crude being evacuated to FSO CAWTHORNE, ensure it meets the required quality for export i.e salt content, water cut, bs&w, pour point, RVP, Sulphur content and API Gravity.
  • Initiate Naval clearance for all OML 18 shuttle tanker every month with NNS PARTHFINDER.
  • Tracking and stock taking of all Cargo onboard OML 18 shuttle tanker.
  • Get approval from NUPRC to issue number of Intakes and Offtakes.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the barging team, including deckhands, engineers, and other support staff.
  • Ensure safe and efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of cargo
  • Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all barging operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner, with minimal impact on the surrounding.
  • Hold operational KEY SAFETY MEETING with Master and chief officer.
  • Supervise FSO CAWTHORNE nominated tank fiscalization before and after oil intake operations, static quantity assessment based on level and temperature measurement.
  • Supervise and sign out all Mid month/End month stock taking in line with NUPRC directive.
  • Sign NUPRC certificate of quantity of all import operation at FSO CAWTHORNE.
  • Send out daily volume tracking report to shipping solutions manager.
  • Design and distribute Calculation spread sheets to Surveyors for volume calculation. Supervise, guide and lead all surveyors related to our operation.
  • Responsible for all HSE-MS on the cargo storage and shuttle vessels.
  • Ensure the LACT unit onboard FSO CAWTHORNE are working optimally, supervise all offtake operations (dynamic and static)
