As part of the Supply Chain Team, I contributed to the immense growth achieved for the business over the period. This includes working and gaining experience in different market environments (Ghana, Angola, West Africa, and Kenya):

• I handled the entire export order process; collaborating with business partners to ensure customer satisfaction as well as drive business growth. This involved logistics management, coordinating shipments and timely delivery of export order
• I demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP which saw me included on a number of system improvement projects like DiBaz (our CRM) and FUSION (an upgrade to S/4 HANA) as well as pioneered various task automizations in SAP resulting improved efficiency
• I also occasionally trained colleagues on how to use SAP transactions as well as other tools like Microsoft Excel, Transporeon, Maersk Portal, Celonis Process Mining, etc.
• I tracked and drove our KPI improvement (Service Level, Automization Rate, Touchless Orders, etc). This required analyzing of data via business intelligence tools like Power BI and Microsoft Excel and making PowerPoint presentations to involved parties to drive corrective/preventive action
• I organized and led collaboration meetings with customers and colleagues from other functions to ensure alignment on order forecast, timely receipt of orders, claims process among others. These meetings greatly improved our forecast accuracy, stock availability and customer satisfaction. I also handled the setup, migration and onboarding of our customers unto DiBaz
• My performance in customer service and order management (from forecast to delivery) was constantly acknowledged with letters of commendation from my customers calling it “perfect planning”. The Sales Team and colleagues from other functions recognized my efforts with various nominations for the prestigious Blue Star Award which I once won and a special mention in our quarterly newsletter.

I managed the daily running and administration of the business:

• I supervised the tasks in connection with the electrical and civil engineering projects undertaken by Blueprint during the construction of the AKSA Energy Power Plant
• I managed the recruitment, welfare, and wages of workers
• I managed the health and safety of workers on client's site during which we recorded ZERO casualties
• I organized daily tool box talks in the mornings to sensitize workers on HSE issues especially related to their daily tasks and general safety
• Developed and reviewed risk assessments for construction sites with contractors.
• Reduced accidents by building strong Health & Safety culture and communications.
• Investigated accidents occurred in area to plan next course of action.
• Conducted site inspections to determine hazard-free environment.
• I oversaw the procurement, inventory and storekeeping of tools, materials and PPE
• As part of my duties, I provided daily reports of work progress on site.

Occupational and Environmental health & safety monitoring and training:

• I advised and assisted on HSE related matters
• I conducted regular inspections and assessment to ensure continual improvement together with HSE team
• I investigated, recorded and calculated reportable incidents and rates
• I audited GBC site and safety procedures together with the inspection team for EPA AKOBEN audit.
• Inspected sites and reported environmental regulation breaches for investigation.

Water Quality Analysis (Micro-algae and Macro-invertebrates):

• I acquired and honed sample collection, preservation and storage skills
• I sorted, identi ed, classi ed and counted the organisms present in laboratory samples to determine water quality
• I mastered the use of the microscope.

• I read a lot on the commission's mandate and policies
• I researched water quality related papers which inspired the work for Undergraduate Thesis
• I attended workshops and seminars organized by various stakeholders
• I proof read documents for errors and typos which developed my keen attention to detail.
• Took detailed, accurate meeting minutes, collating and promptly distributing to relevant staff for swift action.
