● Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all HOC transactions and timely response to all entries.
● Process transactions relating to investment, expenses, clearing and transfers to ensure proper booking of such transactions.
● Review and monitor all accounts and registers relating to investments, HOC, clearing and expenses transactions.
● Ensure internal and external banking policies are adhered to.
● Ensure a bi-monthly Proof of all general ledger accounts, and investigate all out standings immediately.
● Ensuring that transactions are in line with operational guidelines, and proper entries are made for all cash transactions.
● Adequate supervision of tellers and Head teller to achieve effective manpower utilization.
● Ensure counter limits are not exceeded.
● Effective vault administration through cash swaps and evacuation/shipment.
● Efficient ATM administration.
● Authorize entries made by customer service officers.
● Verify requests for demand drafts and customer cheques.
● Generate MasterCard requests for customers.
● Send out search reports to legal department for confirmation and follow up on outstanding requirements.
● Open customers’ accounts, issue cheque books, verify signature on official documents and customer instruments.
